2022 ANNUAL GATHERING

The 2022 PathNorth Annual Gathering was the first following a two-year pandemic hiatus. The event was also a celebration of their 15th anniversary as a leadership organization. All factors called for an elevated approach compared to past Gatherings. We folded into their team for seamless collaboration with their event planner. We created custom conference branding, collateral, a matching guided program/journal for members and oversaw reception/dinner details for this 3-day conference in Orlando at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Grand Bohemian Hotel Autograph Collection. Our personalized journal used their existing curriculum to engage members in a thoughtful new way. And our branding design took this event to the next level, providing improved sponsorship visibility and positioning the organization to pursue revenue from non-member registrations for the first time.

"RETHINKING SUCCESS"
BOOK LAUNCH

After an accomplished career across public service, private investment, and non-profit management, Ambassador J. Douglas Holladay published his first book, “Rethinking Success: Eight Essential Practices for Finding Meaning in Work and Life” with HarperOne in 2020. Despite publishing six weeks into quarantine, we were able to pivot Doug’s book launch by adapting his in-person events into a dynamic series of virtual programming and celebrations. We collaborated with Doug to translate his well-established personal brand into a virtual campaign and online presence. We managed his email campaigns and bulk book sales, engaging 5,000+ individuals and selling more than 15,000 copies in the first year of publication.

MICHELE JOYCE FOR VIRGINIA

Michele Joyce has been a recognized community leader and healthcare advocate for more than a decade—but until the 2019 Virginia state elections, she had little online presence. We consulted with Michele's campaign to establish branding standards, develop a website/social channels, and lead media/political outreach. We also helped Michele articulate a platform that was consistent with her values as a Democrat while making her relatable to all voters in a Republican stronghold district.

Michele's campaign launched with a strong, positive impression in the community that increased voter turnout and volunteer activism. In the process, she brought affordable healthcare to the forefront of the election and forced her opponent to meet constituents. The public persona and online presence we helped her cultivate added depth to her campaign and raised her profile, resulting in prominent endorsements and ultimately doubling original campaign fundraising goals.

THE LINCOLN PROJECT

The Lincoln Project had tremendous interest in virtual volunteer opportunities during the 2020 election, creating the need for a custom engagement plan that allowed the organization to be constructive with online support while spanning multiple states during a pandemic. Our team developed The Leadership Action Plan, The Lincoln Project Digital Coalition (TLPDC) and the #LincolnVoter hashtag—a synergetic political organizing curriculum that onboarded community leaders and elected officials into state steering committees and united tens of thousands of online supporters behind a cohesive digital strategy. We maintained engagement by producing a robust schedule of weekly Facebook Live educational programming for the 100k+ members who joined our moderated private TLPDC Facebook groups. TLPDC mirrored traditional grassroots community organizing by adapting old principles for a new context, giving voters the ability to be involved in a critical election, and achieving additional earned media in the process.

All consulting services provided to The Lincoln Project were provided virtually and remained limited to our established scope: the development and execution of TLPDC and advisory to East Coast steering committees. While we are proud of the digital coalition that we helped TLP build, we have not worked with them since completing our contract, Nov. 7, 2020; we neither endorse nor have any affiliation with their subsequent work.
